Privacy, Simplified
At Iconic Climbs, your trust matters as much as the ride. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we use your information. We only collect what we need to process and ship your gear, improve your shopping experience, and keep you updated (only if you opt in). We never sell your data. To run our store, we share information only with essential partners who power our website, create your products, and help us connect with riders like you. You are always in control of your data.

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services. Information you submit will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Shopify Collective Partners
In some cases, we may share limited customer information (such as name, shipping address, and order details) with third-party brands whose products we feature through our Selective Partners program, powered by Shopify Collective. 5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies to:
- Power essential features like shopping carts and checkout.
- Measure traffic and improve site performance.
- Show relevant ads for Iconic Climbs gear on other websites.
You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner or your browser settings. Other than the Global Privacy Control (GPC), we do not recognize other "Do Not Track" signals that may be sent from your web browser or device.

General Rights:
- Right to Opt out of Sale or Sharing for Targeted Advertising: Depending on where you reside, you may have a right to opt out of the "sale" or "share" of your personal information or to opt out of the processing of your personal information for purposes considered to be "targeted advertising".

Global Privacy Control (GPC):
We honor the GPC signal. If you visit our site with GPC enabled in your browser, we will automatically treat that as a request to opt out of data sharing for that device/browser. If we are able to associate the device sending the signal to a Shopify account, we will apply the opt out request to the account as well.
Verification:
We may need to verify your identity before we can process your requests, as permitted or required under applicable law.
Authorized Agent:
You may designate an authorized agent, though we will require proof of authorization, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Managing Communication Preferences:
We may send you promotional emails, and you may opt out of receiving these at any time by using the unsubscribe option. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or orders.
7. Data Retention and Security
Data Retention:
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Retention time depends on factors such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, provide you with Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce other applicable contracts and policies. Longer retention may be required by law; for example, order records are typically kept for at least 7 years for tax purposes.
Security:
We use SSL encryption and other safeguards to protect your data. However, no electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit; we recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.

If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us to request that it be deleted. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
9. International Transfers
If you are outside the U.S., please note that we may transfer, store, and process your data in the United States. If we transfer your personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or any equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the UK), unless the data transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.
